The esteemed Maloney’s Barber Shop has had me back creating and fitting new shelving, between the barber chairs, for showcasing all the merchandise.
This lot of 7 wall-hung box shelving is made from reclaimed tongue and groove timber and pine plywood, all oiled up with natural linseed oil.
The second stage was making 19 tiny hand lettered shelf labels, using traditional sign-writing enamel, painted onto thin strips of Kauri which were sliced from a bit of recycled bench-top. They are removable and can be positioned on any shelf.
